Equinox Rock Star is one of the last sons of the top sire White Rocks Caliopy, a prolific sire of World Champions. Caliopy was ranked fifth top sire of Champions in Oklahoma in 2017. Caliopy was sired by Elm Hill Charter Oak and out of Ulenfield Gayselba. Great old bloodlines right up close!
Rocky’s dam, the black and beautiful Equinox Mysikate, is a daughter of Courage of Equinox and out of the great Equinox Benn Adam daughter Equinox Aristokate, which makes her a full sister to Equinox Heir of Courage. Mystikate traces all the way back through Equinox Katydid to our foundation sire Bald Mt Ebony Knight.
His offspring have been both consistent and spectacular, exhibiting great shoulders, long upright necks, smooth bodies, athleticism, and pretty heads. All have been very easy to work with, and so far they have all been bay, brown, or black.
